"J.R" was one of my troops; who positively impacted the lives of all that knew him. Courageous resolve and professional unyielding dedication are terms that described his performance as a Deputy Sheriff. He personified Duty, Honor and Commitment. I have many fond memories of J.R. and pray that the Lord will bless and keep his family, providing comfort during these difficult times.

It is so hard to believe he is gone but I know riding a huge Harley around Heaven.  He always made me laugh and I have many great memories of the marina.  JR always enjoyed winding down the evening with a good cigar!    Special prayers to all the family and know JR will always have a special place in my heart.

The funeral was beautiful and very personal. Vocalist and speakers were just what you would have wanted. Spencer has grown so much and is such a great looking young man.

You were a good man and loved by many. Roll Tide now you can see every game from above . Rest in peace my friend.

I always thought of Jerry as one of the most inspirational people I've ever known. I met him in high school, & kept in touch throughout the years. He shared so much of his special heart and always made me feel better. All of my prayers and sympathy to his family during this difficult time.

JR was a special friend to me and  was an inspiration.  I remember the first time I saw him was when he backed me up on a traffic stop in Orlando on Orange Blossom Trail.  We became very close.  Although we took different paths is life,  i never forgot him and in recent years we remained close. I will miss JR.  XOXO
