Anniston - Funeral service for Jerry Love, 83, will be 11 am, Friday, May 25, 2018, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Todd Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Love passed away Tuesday morning at Bill Nichols Veterans. Home.

Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Love Craven and husband Tommy; special niece, Brenda Sue Humphries who gave so generously her time and love; other nieces and nephews, Bill, Jerry, Becky, David, Mary, Lynn, Helen, Lea Anne, Tammy, Cyndi and Chuck and many great nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Smelley, Ricky Humphries, David Heflin, Jerry L. Love, Jeremy Love, and Wayne Edwards.

Mr. Love is preceded in death by his, parents, Albert and Callie Love; brothers, Billy, Charlie and Zane Love; sisters, Audrey Heflin, Betty Jo Smith and Jewell Smelley.

Mr. Love served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. The family would like to extend special thanks to the residents and staff of Bill Nichols Veterans Home for their love, care and especially for the Code Eagle Ceremony as Mr. Love was carried from the building.
