She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bobby; her daughter, Amy; her beloved dachshund, Allie; her sister, Sandra Murray; her brother, Woody Hinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jessica was a 1959 graduate of Anniston High School and remained close friends with many of her classmates. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Alabama and practiced as a Registered Nurse for many years.
In their younger years, Jessica and Bobby enjoyed many adventures, including traveling on numerous cruises to tropical locations with a large group of friends.
One thing is for sure: Jessica loved life. She and her high school classmates met monthly for lunch to catch up and share laughs.
Everyone who knew Jessica knows that the world was a better place with her in it.
Visitation will be held at Forestlawn Gardens, 730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207, on September 22, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral service at Forestlawn Gardens, on September 22, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm.
We will miss her greatly.
