

Anniston – Funeral service for Mr. Jimmy Mac Arnold, 36, will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Harris officiating with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Arnold passed on Friday, August 18, 2017.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his mother, Linda Upner; step-father, John Upner; sisters, Donna (Mark) Thomas, Cindy (Hal) Weiser, Dora (Jared) Bonebrake, and Mary Smith; brothers, Jason Arnold, John W. (Tasha), Matthew (Candie) Upner; aunts, Sandra Upner, Debbie (Leonard) Cook, and Rita Upner; uncle, Roger Arnold, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Carlos Arroyo, Brian Swain, Chris Smith, Jared Bonebrake, Jake Lewis, Hunter Upner, Chris Salinas, and Frank Thurman. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Glass.
Mr. Arnold is preceded in death by his father, James Arnold; grandparents, J.W. and Christine Franks, Monzia and Edward Upner; uncles, Mark Upner, and Larry Arnold.
Mr. Arnold was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He loved Star Wars, music, video games, his nieces, nephews, and his best friend Jack. Jimmy was also very proud of being baptized on May 1st, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church where he was a member. He had a wonderful sense of humor, very kind and was a man who would give you the shirt off his back.
