Mr. Bushard retired from the Anniston Army Depot after years of service. He returned to work for Westinghouse (Incinerator) in Anniston, Alabama, a job he enjoyed very much.
Jimmy was a Godly man, unashamed of his faith. He never met a stranger and loved making those around him laugh and smile. He loved his family dearly.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Teague Bushard and Arnice Avery Whittington Bushard, son-in-laws; John O’Hara and Eddie Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marie Hinds Bushard, Daughters; Tina O'Hara and Sheri Hill, son Bryan Bushard (Myra), grandchildren; Alicia Beason (Jeff), Jonathan Bushard and Blair Robertson, great grandchildren; Brooklyn Beason, Jordan Beason, Landon Bushard, Chloe Payne, J.J. Beason and Brodie Payne.
A graveside service for family only will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Phil Winningham officiating.
