Jimmy Wayne Carden

Funeral service for Jimmy Wayne Carden, 65, of Anniston, will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Gray Brown-Service. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Carden died Friday at his residence.

Survivors include: daughter, Rhonda Pearson and husband Jake; son, Toney Carden and wife Romelda; grandchildren, Christine Pearson, Eric Pearson, Molly Carden, and Emma Carden; sister, Teresa Blackburn and husband Paul; brother, Joseph Terry Carden; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Scott Mayhall, Kenneth Cochran, Steven Carter, Steve Blohm, Carlton Bohannon, and Warren Turner.

Mr. Carden was a longtime resident of Anniston and retired from Bynum after over 30 years of service. He also worked many years for National Gypsum Plant. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Mr. Carden was a great listener he always had perfect advice no matter what the problem. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and close companion Jobe.
