Funeral service for Jimmy Franklin Nelson, 64, of Wellington, will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 8th, 2018, at Gray Brown Service-Mortuary with Pastor Garry Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The

family will receive friends from 11-1pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Nelson passed away on March 1st, 2018. Survivors include his sons’ Jason Nelson (Kristi) and Jeremy Nelson

(Robin); sisters’, Deloris Greenwood and Nancy White; brothers’, James Nelson (Rita), Adrian Nelson, Edward Nelson Sr. (Virginia); grandchildren, Colby and Jackson

Nelson, Zoe Biggs, Dalton Moses, and Kenley Fike; nieces’, Dawn Nelson, Donna Nelson, Retha Higgins, Donna McCord; nephews’, Edward Nelson Jr., Chuck Nelson; and former wife, Susan Carton. Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Louise

Nelson, and a greatniece,Kayla Huddleston. Pallbearers will be Gary Truitt, Jackie Turley Sr., Colby Nelson, Flop Lester, Donald Luallen, and Danny Butterworth. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Wells, Dennis Wells, Emmette Doggrell, and Jeff McCord. Jimmy was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and a lover of dogs. He will be greatly missed by many.
