Funeral services for Jimmy “J.W.” Talley, 67 of Anniston will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Talley died Sunday at his home.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Rita Scott; daughters, Shonda Talley, Tanya Talley (Shane Griffin), Bridgette Talley Magouirk (Brandy); son, Jonathon Golson; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia “Coot” Talley and Juanita Gentry; brothers, Larry, Lester and John “Booty” Talley.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. W.E. and Estelle Talley, and siblings, Robert, Johnny and Margaret Talley.
Mr. Talley was a 30 year employee of South Eastern Specialty Mfg (old Pearless Pipe Shop).
