

Jo Ellen Williamon Ford, 67, of Lincoln passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at NEARMC. A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in Anniston with Rev. Allen Layton and Rev. Butch Suddath officiating. Burial will follow at Patton Chapel Cemetery in Lincoln. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
Jo was born July 22, 1950. She graduated high school from Wellborn in 1968 and Nursing School from Gadsden State Community College in 1980. Jo married her long time sweetheart, best friend and soul-mate, Harold Ford, on December 23, 1967 and was 2 months shy of their 50th Anniversary. Jo was a member of Patton Chapel Baptist Church. She was a loving and giving wife, mother, nanna and friend who always put her family before herself. She, especially, enjoyed spoiling her grand and great-grandchildren. Jo was also a fantastic cook and always had her family surround her on holidays. She really loved her memorable trips to the beach where she loved to watch the waves on the sand, the sun go down over the ocean, and her babies play in the sand.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Ernest Frank “Bill” Williamon; mother, Helen Jones Williamon; sister, Linda W. Stuckman; grandson, Cooper Ford and granddaughter, Lily Ford.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Ford; daughters, Cindy Reaves (Tommy), Rebecca Williams (Luis), Traci Connell (Jody) and sons, Michael Ford, Jake Ford and Josh Ford (Ashlea); grandchildren, Jeremiah Taylor, Josh Reaves (Leah), Jessica Reaves, Jennifer Reaves, Nathan Williams (Megan), Fallon Williams, Ashley Williams, Brodie Williams, Brianna Ford (Chris), Jackson Connell, Gage Connell, and Eli Ford; great-grandchildren, Clay Ford, Hannah Reaves, Harper Martin and Channing Hallmark; sister, Lisa Waschko; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Josh Ford, Ricky Howell, Jackson Connell, Brodie Williams, Nathan Williams, Kevin Robinson, Eugene Crim and Daniel Crim.
