Funeral services for Mrs. JoAnn Ginn Burgess, 66, of Weaver, will be 1:00 pm, Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Watkins and Rev. Larry Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 hrs. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Burgess passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 in Jacksonville.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Burgess; daughter, Rita (Steve) Chauncey; son, Timothy “Bo” (Tammy) Vinson; grandchildren, Logan Vinson and Allie Vinson; her sisters and brother, Faye Hammonds, Sonny Ginn, Sue Slowik, Linda Ginn and Brenda Hanvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Burgess is preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Vinson; parents, Earl and Lucille Ginn; and brother, Terry Ginn.

Mrs. Burgess was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren going to yard sales.
