Words can't describe just how much we will miss Joel.. He was the most kind hearted person we knew. He had the forsaken dry sense of humor that. would keep you laughing all the time. We had some precious memories at the ball parks when Keith and Joel played softball together, he always had something going on!! We will truly miss you!! Roll Tide our friend!!

To the Carter family. I wanted to say how sorry I am about Joel. We grew up together in Pelham Heights. I worked at the depot and can remember when Joel come riding in on a golf cart. It took me by surprise and I asked him what he was doing. He said he had gotten on at Honey Well. I told him that was wonderful. I have a lot of good memories of Joel, he was a good man. My prayers are with the family. Love you my brother. ROLL TIDE ROLL

I worked with Joel at Honeywell.. He helped me get a job there when he didn't even know me. We worked together for almost 8 years but remain friends even after I left Honeywell. He was one the best friends a person could have. I loved him like a brother he would do anything to help a person. I will miss my friend and brother. Roll Tide!
