Joey was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cherished family member. He will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the memories they shared and the special place he held in their hearts.
Joey is survived by his mother, Gail Maye; his father, Charlie Turner; his sisters, Johnnie Shuler and Jenny Turner; his nephew, Kenneth Shuler (Heather); and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Stevens, Bladen Stevens, Gage Stevens, Tanner Stevens, Lynzee Turner, Nathan Turner, Lucas Salsbury, Emma Harden, Koltan Shuler, Kenneth Carl Shuler II, Jamie Wilkes, Ryan Wilkes, Aubrie Wilkes, and Oakland Stevens.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Lori Brush, and his niece, Cynthia Shuler.
Though Joey is no longer with us, the love and memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of his family and friends. His life touched those around him, and he will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Memorial Service
A Memorial Service honoring Joey’s life will be held at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, located at 613 Weaver Lane, Weaver, AL 36277, on September 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
Rev. Lee Bridges will officiate.
