John was retired from Honeywell Aerospace after approximately 32 years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed going to the Smokey Mountains every chance he got. He was a loving husband, Daddy (Diddy) and PawPaw and lived by those names proudly. He was a very giving man and loved to help anyone that he could.
He was a Baptist by faith and loved the Lord. He was always a voice of wisdom and shared it freely when it was needed. We have assurance that he is in Heaven where he was welcomed by his Mother and Daddy and two sisters along with many family members who have gone on before, but most of all his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A special thanks to Oxford Health Systems Paramedics, Oxford Police Department and RMC Emergency room staff for your endless efforts and compassion to our family during this time.
