Our sweet daddy gained his angel wings on Sunday, after a month long battle from a severe stroke. He was so strong and fought so hard. Our family spent many days & nights at the hospital & in his hospice room surrounding him with as much love as we could, telling him everything we ever wanted to say to him. He was able to hold our hands and say “I love you” to all of us. We got our last hugs and kisses in before he went to his new heavenly home. He was the best Daddy anyone could ever hope to have. He played softball for 50 years (even played in a 70 & over travel league for a few years!). He was married to Faye Butler Fulmer for 36 years & after her passing he went on to find love again with our precious “bonus mom” Linda with whom he fulfilled his dream to live on the lake where he fished & golfed to his hearts content & had so many wonderful adventure in their retirement years. We find great comfort in knowing he had many loved ones to greet him in Heaven!
