Johnny is survived by his brother David L. Holder, his sister Shelba Holder Whitley (Roy) and his sister in law Georgette Holder and numerous nieces and nephews.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents James E. Holder and Myrtle Cates Holder; his brothers Jack Holder and Arnold Holder; his sister Geraldine Holder Britt; his sister in laws Mary Frances Holder; Shelby Holder and Joann Holder.
A visitation for Johnny will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. John Gaines officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery 730 Golden Springs Road Anniston, Alabama 36207. Serving as his pallbearers will be his nephews.
Mr. Holder was a somewhat simple, and private man. However, it must be noted that along with his love for riding motorcycles, he also had a great love for his country. We are forever indebted to him for his service in the armed forces as he spent four years of his life in the United States Air Force. Johnny was a good man and will forever be missed by those who were blessed to know him.
