Joshua graduated from Walter Welborn High School and Gadsden State Ayers Campus with Electronic Engineering. His steady diligence and thoughtful focus were evident in the way he pursued learning, building a foundation that would serve him throughout his life.
He was employed at Elbit System of America, where his careful attention and dependable work reflected a quiet professionalism and a commitment to doing things well.
Beyond work, Joshua found meaning in pursuits that spoke to both discipline and wonder. He played the piano, and he loved astronomy—interests that revealed a reflective spirit, a patient curiosity, and an appreciation for both beauty and precision.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on August 30, 2026, at New Covenant Church of God, 2511 Old Birmingham Highway, Anniston, AL 36201.
Joshua is survived by his son, Noah Kotlowski; his girlfriend, Teena Brown of Canada; his mother, Charlene Kotlowski; his father, John Kotlowski; and his brother, John Kotlowski III. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee and Florence Dix, and Johnny and Opal Kotlowski.
