Juanita S. Copeland

ANNISTON – Funeral service for Juanita S. Copeland, age 69, will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Starnes and Rev. Tom Bonds officiating. Interment will follow at Eulaton Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 - 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Copeland passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at her residence

Mrs. Copeland is survived by her daughters, Connie (Michael) Stevens, Carla (Jerry) Cunningham; sister, Ruth (James) Copeland; brothers, Charles (Sandra) Starnes, Paul (Elizabeth) Starnes; grandchildren, Joshua (Jodi) Mitchell, Katie (Russ) Haynes, Bryant Key; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Avery Haynes and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Copeland was a native of Shelby County and resident of Anniston. She was employed at AOD Federal Credit Union for over 30 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Coldwater and was a very devout Christian woman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy B. Copeland, and brother, Roy Starnes. A special thank you to Amedisys Hospice nurses, Missy, Lorrie, and Becky.
