She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Curl and Sherrie Frady along with two grandchildren, Olivia and Matthew Curl, and many nieces and nephews from the Meroney and Clark families. Juanita, the baby of 12 children, is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Maude Meroney, and her husband, Benjamin Frady.
Juanita was an extremely talented seamstress, hand-crafting clothing for those close to her for her entire life. When not sewing, embroidering, quilting, or crocheting, Juanita was an avid reader. Her Bible margins were covered in ink containing her musings, thoughts, and most of all, her devotion to our Lord.
For over 50 years, Juanita was a devoted member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, bringing joy and faith into her local community. Many knew her from her steadfast worship and familiar presence in the sanctuary halls.
For over 25 years, Juanita managed the Fabric and Crafts department for the Lenlock Walmart store.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Harris officiating. Burial Will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 AM - 12 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Albert Cagle, Jim Donaldson, Matthew Curl, Michael Harris, Mike Haynes and Mark Haynes.
