

Anniston – Celebration of life for Juanita Lois Mathis-McCullars, 80, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church with Rev. Samuel K. Fordham. Burial will be in Crook Cemetery in Ohatchee with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary directing. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
Those she left to cherish her loving memory were her devoted husband, James Frank McCullars; her daughters, Diane Story and Tracy McCullars; step-daughter, Conda Gilchrist; grandchildren, Chad Gilchrist, Ashley Gilchrist-Stinson and Jessica Story; great-grandchildren, Hadley, Hollyn, Dane and Kaylee; and a host of relatives and friends. Juanita was preceded in death by her son, Greg Storey and her sisters and brother.
Mrs. McCullars was a loving and devoted wife of 51 years, native of Clay County, and had lived in Calhoun County for 13 years. Juanita was an active member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the garden, decorating her home, and spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Oak Bowery Baptist Church.
