As a single mother of 3 kids, she spent every single day putting their needs above her own. She remained single and focused on her children until she met her late husband, Jerry.
Jerry and Judy met in 1996, and it was an instant connection. Judy would soon spend her time riding in the truck traveling with Jerry, as he was a truck driver.
Judy was a preacher's wife, and it showed in her faith. Her spiritual journey was personal and profound. Her faith provided strength and comfort during her life's various phases. She catered for and was so devoted to her husband, you’d say her life revolved around him. You would often see her with their two little dogs and Jerry on their front porch, watching the world go by.
Judy was a beloved person, not just by her immediate family, but also in the community. Known affectionately as 'Nana', she cherished her role as a grandmother, always there with a hug, a smile, and words of encouragement. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy to all that knew her.
Judy is survived by a loving family who will miss her dearly. She was always the strongest person to her children, and will always be remembered as a headstrong, hardworking mother.
The family has entrusted Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Anniston, Alabama, with the arrangements. Judy's life will be celebrated and remembered at Shoal Creek Church, surrounded by those who loved him dearly.
