Julia Mae Wilson

Funeral service for Julia Mae Wilson, 90 of Anniston, will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Keith Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson passed away October 29, 2017 at RMC Stringfellow Hospital.

Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Faulkner (Michael), Carolyn Sue Wilson and Margaret Tillison (David); grandchildren, Tammy Leigh Zegarelli (Ben), Donna Teneyck (Tyler), Pamela Munroe, Christopher Shane Tillison and Matthew Dallas Tillison; several great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donal Wilson; brother, Ray A. Tipton and her sister, Thelma (Sissy) West.

Pallbearers will be William Self, Kevin Self, Chris Tillison, Matthew Tillison, David Tillison and Ben Zegarelli.

Mrs. Wilson was a lifetime member of McCoy United Methodist Church. She loved children and for 46 years taught Sunday School. She was loved by everyone who met her.
