Thank you,everyone for the love and prayers and support you have given our family during this hard time.Karen was a wonderful wife and mother,the kids and I miss her dearly.She loved her students so much;please honor her memory and work hard in school,thats what she would have wanted you to do.Remember,she is still watching over you.

Karen and I grew up playing together when she lived off of pattiway drive in Alexandria.  I hated to hear of her passing at such a young age.  Even though I haven't spoke with her in years, those memories still remain.  I will keep her family in my prayers.

Karen was, as described at her memorial service, indescribable.  When she started dating my Uncle Brian and later married him, I loved her from the minute I knew her.  She never treated me like a 'step-niece'.  She always made me feel special and loved.  The thing I loved the most about her was her fun-loving personality and the fact that you always knew how she felt about you.  If she loved you, you knew it.  We will miss her smile and laugh the most.  I consider it a privilege to have counted her as family.

Karen was not only my cousin but my best friend we have so many memories together and I will always cherish each and everyone of them. It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but we can find comfort in knowing that Karen was such special part of so many lives. I have known Karen all my life. She and my cousin were best friends. I then had the privilege of her being my English teacher later on in high school. Not only was she a wonderful person but the epitomy of  what a teacher should be in that she was always there for each and every one of her students as an educator, confidant, and all around wonderful influence to have in someone's life. She is a very special person and has taught me alot. I went through some pretty rough situations in high school and if not for her wonderful guidance as a friend and confidant, I don't know where I would be today. That was just her way. She will always be remembered for the wonderful smile and kind heart and she will be deeply missed.

I still can't believe this has happened.  You made such an impact on the lives you touched.  Logan and Nick have been friends since pre-school and we had many conversations about them being mischievous together.  God got another angel the day you left.  You were special to many people and have been a blessing to so many.

She influenced me so much and was a great friend to me during my last few years of high school.
