Karen Denise Hase

Funeral service for Karen Denise Hase, 63, of Anniston will be11:00 am Friday, July 17, 2020, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Moates and Rev. Mitchell Muns officiating with burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Anniston. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11am.

Mrs. Hase passed away on July 13, 2020 at home with her family.

Mrs. Hase is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike” Hase; daughters, Stacey Watson (Phillip), and Michele Shurbutt (Jim); mother, Elgia Easterwood; sister, Teresa White; brothers, Danny Easterwood and Billy Easterwood; grandchildren, Breanna Watson, Kaitlin Watson and Karlene Shurbutt; Sister-in-law, Rhonda Brown,and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hase is preceded in death by father, Horace Easterwood; and sister, Robin Pearson; mother-in-law, Annie Ruth Hase.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Watson, Jim Shurbutt, Jerrod Brown, Vance Brown, Heath Hase and David White.

Denise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Christian who inspired many by her faith. She loved her Bible and prayed daily. She was greatly loved by many and will be missed.
