
Funeral service for Rev. Kenneth Craig Ford, Sr., 73, of Jacksonville, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Floyd Willis and Rev. Charles Parris officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Rev. Ford died January 14, 2017 at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation.
Survivors include wife, Betty Ford; sons, Kenneth Craig Ford, Jr. (Kirstyn) and Mark Vince Ford (Valarie); grandchildren, Lucas Ford, Steven Ford, Caitlynn Ford, Sarah Ford, Keaton Jordan, Jasmine Jordan, Elizabeth Cummings and William Cummings; great-grandchild, Ja’Kobe Marburay; and his sister, Brenda Brown.
Rev. Ford is preceded in death by his parents, James Craig and Eddie Bell Ford and his brother, Lenwood Ford.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
Rev. Ford was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville and a member of Weaver Congregational Holiness Church where he taught the Men’s Sunday School Class. He was also a minister. Rev. Ford was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed.
