Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Ray Kirby, 67, of Weaver, will be Tuesday, November 19th 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Parker Memorial Baptist with Dr. Mack Amis and Dr. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Kirby passed away on November 15th, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vickie K. Kirby; daughters, Dana Kirby Wylie and her husband Robby, Summer Kirby Davis and her husband Josh; grandchildren, Jackson Wylie, McKenley Davis, Colt Davis, Addy Wylie, Livy Wylie; brother, Samuel Kirby and his wife Joyce, including several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mildred Kirby and his brother, James Lynn Kirby.
Pallbearers will be Robby Wylie, Josh Davis, Jackson Wylie, Brian Kirby, Wendell Kirby, and Lee Isbell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Greg Addison, Mark Voorhest, Dwight Kirby, Don Gober, and Mike Anglen.
Mr. Kirby was a retired home builder and general contractor and was currently the building superintendent for Parker Memorial Baptist, which he dearly loved. He enjoyed sharing knowledge of his trade. Kenneth fiercely loved his family and they loved him just as much. Spending time with his grandchildren and attending all of their activities was one of his greatest joys. He was a great man and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
