Lawrence Langley Sr.

Funeral service for Lawrence Langley Sr., 79, of Anniston, will be, 1pm, Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Lee Bridges and Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Eastaboga Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Langley died Monday night at his residence.

Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Higuera (Michael), and Peggy Wright (David); son, Lawrence Langley Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren, Michelle Bridges (Lee), Mallory Johnson (Jesse), John Higuera, Heather Higuera, Wesley Wright, Tanner Wright, Clay Bridges, Cooper Bridges, Sadie Johnson, Ashton Johnson and Alex Johnson; sisters, Bernice Cook, Inez Chambless and Glayds McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Langley is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Langley

Mr. Langley was resident of the Wellborn Community and a member of the Athletic Club at Wellborn High School. He retired from U.S. Pipe and was currently employed at Jacks in Oxford.
