Leder Ruth Gray

Ruth is survived by daughters Arlene Gentry (Billy) and Jane Mangham (Danny), and by brother Horace Deese. Ruth is also survived by grandchildren Scott Gentry, Stacey Morales, Shane Phillips, and Brandy Noles, along with 11 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by parents Harvey and Leler Turley, sisters Louise Kendrick (Albert) and Mae Deese, and grandchildren Cristy Gentry Braden and Blake Morales.

A Funeral Service will be held at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Mike Drummond and Rev. Randy Terrell officiating, on October 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends starting at 12:00 Noon.

Ruth was a member of Prospect Baptist church and retired from textile manufacturing. She loved God and family and was an avid Thrift Store Shopper. She enjoyed having tea parties with her grandbabies. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
