Funeral service for Lillie B. Whitley, 86, of Anniston, will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Glenn E. Dabbs officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Whitley died Thursday evening at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include sons, Jimmy Whitley (Brenda) Ken Whitley (Terrie); Grandchildren, Nathan Whitley, Leah Whitley, Bobby Whitley, Towana Whitley; great grandchildren, Braxton, Alyssa, Matthew, Auburn, Stormy and Landon; sisters, Joann Dabbs, Shirley Jones, Inez Wesson, and Mary Davenport; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Whitley is preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Whitley and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Whitley was a longtime resident of Eulaton and a member of Eulaton Baptist.
