Linda is survived by her husband, Rodney Jones; her son Robert Carl Jones; her grandchildren Emily Jones (Chase Haney), and Jaxon Brown and her great grandchild Sydney Haney. And several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Maxine Owens; her brother Jimmy Owens; her sister Susan Helms and her sister Shelia Burchfield.
A graveside service for Linda will be held Friday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at United Fellowship Baptist Cemetery, Hwy 431, Alexandria, AL 36250 with Chaplain Gary Walker officiating..
Serving as pallbearers are Chase Haney, William Champlin, Nick Helms and Marcus Jones.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She graduated Alexandria High School and then Jacksonville State University. Linda taught at Gadsden State Business College and was a member of Lloyds Chapel. She loved Alabama football and spending time with her family doing crossword puzzles and various other games including Candy Crush. Linda loved to travel and was a loving mother and grandmother.
