Funeral service for Lloyd Vermillion, 78, of Anniston, will be held at 10am on Thursday July 13th, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Homer Longoria officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. A private graveside will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mr. Vermillion passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2017 in Anniston
Survivors include his son David Vermillion; daughter Nancy Butts (Tim); daughter Lisa Peek (David); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother Dennis Vermillion.
Mr. Vermillion is preceded in death by his mother Maxine Smith and father William Lloyd Vermillion; son Tim Vermillion; and brother Bill Vermillion.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Mr. Vermillion was a devoted Christian man who loved his family.
He was an avid gardener and fisherman. He loved to read and talk about the Bible. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
