

Lois P. Bentley, 100, of Bynum, Alabama, was born on February 8th, 1921 and passed away on August 5th, 2021 at Diversicare Nursing Home. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Bentley and his wife Sophana; grandchildren, Ricky Bentley and his wife Paula, Cindy Youngblood and her husband Randy, Tim Bentley and his wife Robbie, Dwayne Bentley and his wife Karen, Dia Webb and her husband Michael, Ben Bentley and his wife Dana, 11 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bentley is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Bentley; sons, Ronald Bentley, Jerry Bentley; grandson, Johnny Bentley; parents, John and Dora Pilkington; siblings, Lila, Owen, Paul, Bill and Kathleen Pilkington.
Pallbearers will be Jason Parks, Greg Bentley, Matthew Bentley, Dwayne Bentley, Noah Bentley, Ben Bentley and Brent Parks.
Mawmaw will be remembered for her love for her family and her God. She attended Antioch Baptist Church in Bynum. She was an avid reader and cook and always helped her family and neighbors. She was always available to babysit even her great-great-grandchildren. She was blessed to have lived a long life and she could tell you anything you needed to know concerning the history of this area or Calhoun County along with family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Bentley will be Sunday, August, 8th, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Pastor Mike Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family would like to welcome friends one hour prior to the service.
