Mrs. Lois Carroll Lott Crowder, was born April 23, 1923 in Shady Glenn, AL and passed away January 21, 2018 at Jacksonville Health & Rehab. Funeral service for Mrs. Crowder will be 2 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Ohatchee First Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Pruitt and Rev. James Cohorn officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.
Survivors include her children, Toney “Tommy” (Taska) Lott, Larry (Teresa) Lott, Debra (William) Brown, Tim (Linda) Lott and very special daughter, Pamela Lott, grandchildren, Bruce (Paula) Lott, Kim (Darin) Long, Heather (Joey) Gallahar, Chandra (Troy) Velotta, Andy Lott, Dr. Jason Lott, T J (Kelly) Brown and Kelsey Lott (Colt Gilpin), great-grandchildren, Dylan Lott, Megan Lott, Will Bowling, Ashlyn Gallahar, Cailee Velotta, Alania Velotta, Ryan Brown, Channing Gallahar, Rowley Brown, Hayden Gallahar, Jackson Long and Remy Brown, numerous nieces & nephews..
Mrs. Crowder is preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Lott Jr., and Linford Crowder, parents, William Andy & Pemelia Carroll, sisters, Anna Grace Carroll and Lena Mae Peters, brothers, Jimmy Carroll and Robert Carroll.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Lott, Andy Lott, Dylan Lott, Will Bowling, T J Brown, and Ryan Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Megan Lott, Ashlyn Gallahar, Cailee Velotta, Alania Velotta, Channing Gallahar, Rowley Brown, Hayden Gallahar, Jackson Long and Remy Brown.
Mrs. Crowder was a native of Ohatchee. She retired from the Calhoun County School System working 16 years in the Ohatchee School lunchroom. Mrs. Crowder helped with the first homebound meal program with the Ohatchee Senior Citizens. She was a loving mother, memaw, sister, aunt and friend. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of unit 1 at Jacksonville Health & Rehab for the excellent care provided to our mother and memaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ohatchee First Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to Alzheimer’s Association for Research.
