Funeral services for Lonnie S. Bowen, 90, of Anniston will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Bill Golden officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Bowen passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at NHC.
Survivors include his sons, Barry Bowen (Theresa) and Terry Bowen; grandchildren, Jennifer Tittle (Bobby), Caleb Bowen (Kendalyn), Rebecca Bowen, Malachi Bowen; great-grandchildren Carson Tittle and Caycen Tittle; brother, Paul Bowen; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bowen is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Bowen; his siblings, Louise Smith, Lewis Bowen and Albert Bowen.
Mr. Bowen was longtime resident of Anniston and was a Baptist. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be loved a missed by his family and friends.
