
Burial on Tuesday March 3rd, 2026 at 11:00 AM will be held at Maple Grove Mausoleum 4000 US Hwy 431 Anniston Alabama 36206. Survivors include his wife Lovaughn P. Quigley, son Glenn S. Quigley, of Mesa, AZ and 6 grandchildren Leana S. Carter, Ratchel Quigley, Laurel Quigley, Brent Quigley, Braden Quigley, Magnus Quigley and great grandson Kamden Carter.
Mr. Quigley was born in Philadelphia, PA, raised in Altoona, PA, graduated from Altoona High School in 1954. A resident of Oxford, Alabama since 1981.
He is preceded in death by his wife Geneva Yvonne Howell Quigley and daughter Lana Y. Quigley, parents Louis F. Quigley and Dora Mary Neal Brown.
He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years, served in the Vietnam War. He as a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm, and other awards. He worked at Fort McClellan as a Civil Servant and was known by many as "Mr. Q". Retired from Fort McClellan when in closed in 1999.
He enjoyed doing Family History (Genealogy) and found many nationalities in his family lines.
Mr. Quigley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved his fellow man.
