Lucy Marie Oliver

Visitation for Lucy Marie Oliver, 95, of Oxford, will be Monday, from 5 – 8 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Wilkinson-Wiseman Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 – 8 pm at Wilkinson-Wiseman Funeral Home. Mrs. Oliver died Sunday at her residence.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah M. Wise of Cedar Bluff and Patsy Pierce of Oxford, one son, Donald F. Dailey of Birmingham, three sisters, Mary Jane Collins of Indiana, Polly Neace of Chavis, KY and Kathrin Montgomery of Portland, TN, three brothers, Sam Collins, Harve Collins and Bill Collins all of Chavis, KY, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren five nieces and six nephews.

Mrs. Oliver is preceded in death by her husband Ernest S. Oliver, son, William “Bill” Montgomery, parents, Dan and Sally Ann Collins.

Mrs. Oliver was a native of Chavis, KY and a resident of Oxford for 35 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oxford.
