Funeral Services for Marcia Lewis Champion, 75 of Anniston will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Anniston with David Hodnett officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Champion passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Birmingham.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Champion Taylor (Craig), her son Robert “Bo” Champion (Melinda), her grandchildren Elizabeth Jeanne Taylor and Jacob Robert Champion and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Champion is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert C. Champion and her brother Leslie Lewis.
Mrs. Champion was raised in the Southside of Birmingham and graduated from Ramsay High School. Mrs. Champion worked as a Legal Secretary for Lange, Simpson, Robinson & Somerville of Birmingham and James S. Hubbard of Anniston. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother.
