Margaret Bryant Chandler

Margaret Bryant Chandler, age 78, of Anniston, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home with her family at her side. Margaret was born in Anniston Alabama on December 17,1945 to Caldwell and Pariza Bryant. She was married to her husband Charles Wayne Chandler for 60 years whom she loved very much. She was a loving wife to her husband Wayne and a loving mother to her only son Mark Chandler.

Margaret had many friends who she cared for deeply from her childhood to present day. She worked as the concessions supervisor at Woodland Park for The City of Anniston Parks and Recreation division for over 23 years. She also loved her dog Bailee very much.

The Chandler family would like to give a very special thanks of recognition to Compassus Hospice Care, Chapel Hill Funeral Home, and ForestLawn Gardens Cemetery.

The Chandler family would also like to send a very appreciated thanks to her nephew Dustin Bryant for his faithful help, Jim Norton for his guidance in faith, and Cory, Tara, and Brighton-Kate Brown for their tireless and unwavering care and dedication to caring for Margaret.

Margaret is preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother Charles Bryant. She is survived by her husband Wayne, her son Mark, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Margaret will be held Monday August 19,2024 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00-2:00pm and the funeral service at 2:00pm followed by the graveside service at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
