Mrs. Whitman is survived by her husband of 39 years, James R, Whitman; a special niece, Mary Ellen Piirsalus; love chosen niece, Sonya Dumond Wilkerson and nephew, Dewey Dumond; special sister-in-law, Evelyn Haynes; several nieces and nephews.
