

Anniston – Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Marie Dalrymple Lloyd, 83, of Anniston will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with David Tankersley officiating with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 p.m.
Mrs. Lloyd went to be with her savior on October 5, 2016 at RMC in Anniston.
Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Curtis Lloyd; daughter, Gina (Tony) May of Dothan, Al; sons, Jeff (Susan) Lloyd, and Chris (Deedee) Lloyd of Anniston; grandchildren, Brett Lloyd, Hunter Lloyd, Zach May, Isaiah Lloyd, and her “baby girl”, Michaela Lloyd; brothers, Donald Dalrymple, Terry Dalrymple, and Allen Dalrymple; sister, Bonnie Rich; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her parents, William Freeman and Evelyn Jenkins Dalrymple; brothers, Jimmy Lee Dalrymple, and Bill Dalrymple; and sisters, Doris Smith, and Helen Stough; nephews, Gary Smith, Tracy Rich, and Jason Hicks.
Pallbearers will be Terry Dalrymple, Tony Dalrymple, Greg Rich, Tyler Rich, Taylor Rich, and Cody Clark.
Mrs. Lloyd worked as a floor lady at S&H Kress; she was employed 18 years with the Calhoun County Board of Education as a title one teacher and was known to many as their favorite substitute teacher. She touched many lives, taking time to nature each one to ensure they went away confident in themselves. Mrs. Lloyd was also a seamstress and very talented in needlework’s. She was a member of the Grace Sunday School Class at Hill Crest Baptist Church
