Faye is survived by her husband, Melvin Fields; and several nieces and nephews.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Ima Clay; her sister Minnie Lee Singleton; her brothers Darrell Clay and Calvin Clay.
Funeral services for Faye will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Forestlawn Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Billy Wayne Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Faye was a lifelong resident of White Plains and a graduate of White Plains High School. She attended Jacksonville State University and was of the Baptist Faith. Faye and Melvin loved to travel the world visiting every state and many countries throughout the world. She will be missed dearly.
