Graveside services for Martha Helen Baker, 98, of Anniston, will be Friday, at 2:00 p.m. at Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery with Father Charley Alookaran officiating. Mrs. Baker died at National Healthcare on Tuesday evening, November 28th. The Baker family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at National Healthcare for their dedicated and professional care.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwin Baker and her sisters, Kathryn Traywick and Frances Tuck.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Reese and Judith Gaines (Joseph) of Charlotte, N.C., two grandchildren, Joseph L. Gaines (Heather) and Wesley B. Gaines (Ann), two great-grandchildren, Lillian Baker Gaines and Daniel Chapman Gaines.
Mrs. Baker was born in Collierville, Tennessee and a resident of Anniston for most of her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building fund.
