Memorial Service for Mr. Marvin ‘Tony’ Williams will be Saturday 12 pm May 7, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1500 Airport Rd., Oxford, AL. Visitation will be from 11 am until 12pm at the church. Pastor Edwin Talley and Dr. C. O. Grinstead will be officiating. Chapel Hill Funeral Home will be accepting flowers to be delivered at the funeral home and will be delivered to family, no later than 9AM Saturday morning. Chapel Hill is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Marvin ‘Tony’ Williams, 69, of Weaver passed away at his home on Wednesday May 4, 2022 surrounded by his family. Tony was born September 15, 1952 and a Lifelong resident of Weaver.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carla Williams. Tony had three children, son, Toby Williams (Jessica) of Alexandria; daughter, Leslie Williams (Jeremy) of Weaver; son, Tommy Williams (Bonnie) of Weaver. Tony had four grandchildren, Grady Anthony Adams, Dayton Lee, Phoxton Benjamin, Kayleigh Hindsman; Four siblings, sister, Morrisa Williams of Ohatchee, Bonnie Blackmon of Birmingham; brothers, Terry Williams of Ohatchee, and John Warren of Oxford. Tony had one niece Lora Smith (Keith) of Leeds. Tony adored his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dobbie and Bertha Williams.
He worked for the family Business, Williams Scrap Metal Inc. He was a great husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
