Mary A. Smith Bosworth

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bosworth age 95 of Anniston will be Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Chapel with Dr. Michael Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 on Sunday at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Mrs. Bosworth passed away Friday in Anniston.

Survivors include a daughter Lynn Heard (Charles) of Canton, Ga., son Frank Bosworth Jr. (Donna) of Alexandria, Al. grandchildren are Scott Heard, Stephen Heard, Lori Feemster, Leslie Marshall, Jennifer Watwood and Jodi Bragg, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bosworth is preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Lillie Smith, her husband Frank Bosworth Sr. and 2 sisters Annie Laurie Golightly and Sara Steipp.

Pallbearers will be Scott Heard, Stephen Heard, Dillon Heard, Jesse Heard, Timothy Burgess, Mike Bosworth.

Mrs. Bosworth was one of the oldest members of McCoy Memorial United Methodist Church having joined in 1925. For many years she taught ceramics for the City of Anniston and continued to share her artistic ability with friends and family being the owner and operator of her own ceramic shop. She was an active member of United Methodist Women’s Society in previous years.
