Mary Evelyn Clayton

Funeral service for Mary Evelyn Lloyd Clayton, 83, of Anniston, will be 11am Tuesday, June 14th 2016 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10am-11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Clayton passed away Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at her home.

Survivors include her son, Richard Clayton; daughters Shelia Diane Clayton Hayes and Kathy Clayton Reaves; sister, Dorothy Smith; granddaughter Alicia Edgeworth (David); grandsons Jeremy Clayton and Christopher Reaves, all of Anniston. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hasker Clayton Jr.; brothers Jack and Eugene Lloyd; father Harold Lloyd; and her mother, Catherine Baggett.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Mrs. Clayton was a life-long resident of Anniston, AL and a retiree of the former Anniston Sportswear
