Mary worked for many years in Bad Aibling Germany as a Secretary (Translator) until she retired in 1980. She moved to Eastaboga, Alabama in January of 1981.
She is survived by her niece Judith Cobb who has been her caregiver for many years and numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Zipper Linkel and her father Karl Linkel.
Visitation for Mary will be held at Gray Brown Service Mortuary Saturday, June 20,2026 beginning at 10:00am with Funeral Service beginning at 11:00am. Officiating services will be Zachary Burrage with music by Nathan Holcomb.
Mary loved people, had a great personality and never met a stranger. She was very generous and supported many organizations over the years.
