Graveside service for Mary Maurine “Muffet” Glass, 72 of Anniston will be Wednesday at 11:00 at Edgemont Cemetery with Dr. Billy Harris officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:45 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary.
Survivors include her sister, Beth Glass Trotman, of Decatur, Ga.; brother-in-law, Thomas S. Campbell, of Decatur, Ga. and a number of cousins.
Ms. Glass is preceded in death by her parents Millard William Glass and Mary Maurine Potter.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Ms. Glass was a native of Anniston, Al. and a longtime resident of Anniston. She was a graduate of Judson College. She served for several years as a youth director in churches in Anniston and in Enterprise, Al. and at Eastern Kentucky State University. Later, back in Anniston, she worked at Disciple’s Book Store in Saks; at a health services company and in food service. Ms. Glass was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calhoun County Humane Society or Parker Memorial Baptist Church.
