

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louise Mims Greenwood, 94, of Alexandria will be Thursday, 3:00 pm, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Reaves and Rev. Todd Borders officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Mrs. Greenwood passed away Sunday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Greenwood is survived by her son, James D. Mims (Jean); daughter, Sherron M. Martin (Troy); grandchildren, Tony Clark (Mona), Bill Clark (Jennifer), Donna Morris, Kevin Mims (Dana), Sherry Mims, Lorrie Burks (David), Steven Hughes (Beth); great-grandchildren, Aidan Clark, Katie Clark, Jacob Clark, Scott Flint, Kyler Benitez, Ava Bergren, Selena Smith, Jon Ryan Robinson Mims and Taylor Hughes; nieces, June Wood and Frances Herndon
Pallbearers are Tony Clark, Bill Clark, Kevin Mims, Steven Hughes, Aidan Clark, Jacob Clark, Lilburn Thomas and Milton Harris. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Greenwood is preceded in death by her husband, H. C. Mims and daughter, Judy Clark.
Mrs. Greenwood was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a graduate of Alexandria High School. She was the oldest member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her hobbies were reading, art and gardening.
