1 pm at Leatherwood Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey LuAllen officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am until the time of the service at Leatherwood Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lloyd’s Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.
Matt went home to be with the Lord, on November 26, 2021, leaving behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 15 years, Sommer Boling Jones; son, Ethan, daughters, Madison Boling, Morgan B. Gaines and AJ Gaines; granddaughter, Brayleigh Gaines; mother, Charlotte Cole Jones; brother, Marcus Jones; father and mother-in-law, Eddie and Venetia Boling; brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Jennifer Boling; niece and nephew. Audrey and Alex Boling.
Pallbearers will be Ward Acker, Troy Barnes, Brian Bright, LeWayne “’Bubba” Bright, Kevin Gardner, Nick Helms, Ty Pierce, Patrick Webb, Jeremy Williams and Patrick Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be the 1995 Alexandria State Championship Football team and he Welders in Building 131.
Matt was employed by the Anniston Army Depot for over 20 years as a welder. Matt was loved by all who knew him and he never met a stranger. He loved his wife, children, and grand-baby more than anything in this world. Matt loved the Lord and knew He would call him home when He was ready for him. He was welcomed to Heaven by his father, Stanley Jones, grandparents Sydney and Bud Jones, Melvin and Pearl Cole.
