Anniston - Funeral services for Mr. Michael A Burney, 58 of Anniston will be Friday, June 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper officiating with burial following at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm prior the service at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Burney passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at RMC in Anniston.
Mr. Burney is survived by his wife, Tina Burney; daughter, Nicole (Joshua) Rice; father, Joseph A Burney; sister, Sheila (Rick) Gibson; brother, Don (Sherry) Burney; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burney was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Burney and best buddy Roscoe.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mike was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a Graduated of Saks High School Class of 1973.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
