Mike is survived by his wife of 28 years Cindy M. Kulp, his son, Mickey Kulp (Lisa), his daughter, Stephanie Carroll, sister, Joann Finch (Mike), nephews, Chris and Aaron, niece, Shannon, Grandchildren, Kristina (Alex), Drew and Madison, great-grandchildren, James, Raelynn and Ryker.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Raymond Kulp, his mother Betty Kulp Brownlow and his mother-in-law Deweese McClellan.
Mike worked for the Anniston Fire Department for 37 years and Kulp Appliance for 48 years out of Clevenger Appliance Co alongside his longtime friend Orliss and Kim Clevenger. His last visit a week ago at our home was with his brotherly friend Allan Butler, they worked together for decades. Mike enjoyed the visit with Al so very much. I saw it bring Mike joy and gratitude. He loved his friend. Mike was a gentle man and a gentleman. Mike doesn’t need to be described, if you knew him, you knew the goodness of man, honesty and truth. He will rest in peace.
Donations may be made to any charity of one’s choice. Mikes favorite was Children’s Cancer Treatment Center and any animal shelter that helped the animals. We shared many during our life together and loved them all dearly.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Kindred Hospice and Staff and to Casey, Hannah, Trish and Chris for their loving care.
